Meet Jorien: Our Bold New Adventurer in Motion!

Character design of Jorien from Tavern Toons, shown in three walking poses, featuring a confident purple-skinned figure with a mustache, wearing a white shirt and orange vest.

Every great tavern tale needs a hero—or in Jorien’s case, someone who thinks they’re the hero. Today, we’re excited to share Jorien’s full character design along with their very first walk cycle animation! Watching Jorien stride across the screen is like seeing a sketchbook sketch spring to life—confident, quirky, and ready to stumble into trouble at any moment.

Bringing Jorien from concept art to animation has been a huge milestone for the Tavern Toons team. Their design balances bold fantasy flair with just enough comedic edge to fit perfectly into the chaos of our world. You’ll notice the little details in their stance, posture, and stride that hint at who Jorien really is: ambitious, determined, and maybe just a bit too sure of themselves.

This walk cycle isn’t just a test—it’s a preview of how characters in Tavern Toons will move, act, and carry the humor of the series forward. Animation is storytelling in motion, and with Jorien’s debut steps, we’re one step closer to bringing the whole Tavern Toons cast to life.

Stay tuned—more characters are about to join the party, each with their own quirks, chaos, and questionable decision-making skills.

So, what do you think? Does Jorien have the swagger of a hero—or the overconfidence of someone about to trip over a barstool? Let us know in the comments! 🍻
