About Tavern Toons: An Original Fantasy Comedy
Tavern Toons is an original fantasy comedy animated series set in a world where magic is powerful, adventuring is a profession, and common sense is apparently optional.
At the center of it all is the Dungeon Crawl Tavern, a gathering place for wizards, adventurers, monsters, and anyone unfortunate enough to get caught up in their latest scheme. From magical mishaps and questionable potions to dungeon insurance claims and expeditions gone horribly wrong, everyday fantasy life rarely goes according to plan.
Beyond the tavern lies a much larger world. Strange destinations like Frostbite Springs are home to their own characters, creatures, and stories, while organizations such as the Arcane Geographic Society attempt—with varying degrees of success—to document it all.
Among the tavern’s colorful crew is Kenton, an eccentric wizard currently employed as the cook after being legally prohibited from practicing magic, alongside an expanding cast of adventurers, tavern regulars, and assorted magical troublemakers.
Inspired by fantasy adventures, tabletop gaming, and classic cartoon comedy, Tavern Toons turns familiar fantasy tropes into short animated stories about the ridiculous side of living in a magical world.

The Dungeon Crawl Tavern is home to an unusual crew including Kenton, a wizard legally prohibited from practicing magic; Stewart, the tavern’s bartender; Hudd, a mysterious hooded adventurer with an uncanny ability to survive mortal wounds; Grett, an entrepreneurial dwarf with an unusually impressive vertical leap; and Jorien, the tavern’s currently missing owner.
What inspired Tavern Toons?
We grew up loving Saturday morning cartoons and fantasy epics. Tavern Toons is our way of bringing those two worlds together—nostalgic cartoon art style, but with tongue-in-cheek humor straight out of a Dungeons & Dragons campaign gone off the rails.
