A new story has arrived at the tavern.
The latest episode of Tavern Toons is now live, and this time Kenton the Mad is attempting to promote his newest literary masterpiece: “How to Win Friends and Enslave People.”
While Kenton insists it’s a perfectly legitimate self-help book, things quickly spiral when a young patron asks him to read a story from his “complete works.”
What follows is the legendary tale of The Swiss Wiz — a magical block of Swiss cheese who once saved the Kingdom of Brie from the evil sorcerer known only as The Gouda.
Yes, really.
According to Kenton, the Swiss Wiz traveled across forests, deserts, and mountains before finally confronting the dark sorcerer in his fortress. With a powerful spell and a fountain of molten fondue, the Wiz trapped The Gouda in a sticky golden prison and saved the kingdom.
Naturally, Mitch thinks the story is the dumbest thing he’s ever heard.
Kenton, however, insists the story is completely true… and that he himself was the Swiss Wiz.
Which raises one important question.
Why does he say “not anymore”?
